How is democracy fairing in America? And, how does it stack up against other democracies around the world? The new book "Understanding America" probes these questions, through a collection of essays. Co-editor James Q. Wilson discusses some of the findings, in advance of a lecture in Santa Barbara. KCLU's Lance Orozco talks with Wilson.
